Mission Statement: The mission of the Claiborne County Retiree Recruitment Committee is to actively commit to promote and market the area to attract retires to Claiborne County as an aid to enhance the local economy.
Retiree Recruitment: An increasing portion of the population is becoming migrating retirees. Attracting retirees is recognized as an important industry – one whose benefits are so great that many states are competing vigorously for it. Recognizing this, a committee was formed to focus on the economic enhancement of Claiborne County Through the promotion of retiree attraction as an economic development strategy.
